Edna M. Huber, 101, of 1351 W. Cedar Ave., Gladwin, died Monday, Nov. 19, 1990, in the Clare Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Kingston Ont., Can., March 4, 1889, she had spent most of her lifetime in Gladwin County. She taught school in her early years and farmed. Mrs. Huber was a member of the Gladwin First United Methodist Church. The former Edna Spike, she was married to Wasta Huber, Feb. 20, 1913, in Gladwin. He preceded her in death April 24, 1967.
Surviving are one daughter, Adeline VanEver of Gladwin; one son, Austin of Corpus Christi, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 35 great, great grandchildren. Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Joel Hurley will officiate and burial will be inthe Highland Cemetery. Visitation is after 7 p.m. Thursday.
