Mrs. Anna Malm, late of Rainier, Oregon, at a local hospital Sunday, January 5, at the age of 76 years. Mother of Mrs. Charlotte Tinsley of San Francisco, Mrs. P.E. Swanson of Portland, Mrs. A.D. Woodmansee of Salem and A.L. Malm of El Paso, Texas; sister of Mrs. Marie Kofelt of San Francisco, H.T. Larson and G. Larson both of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, L. Larson of Portland, and Hilmar Larson of Honolulu, Hawaii. Services will be held Wednesday, January 8, at the Chapel at Riverview cemetery, Portland, at 10 am.

Mrs Anna Malm died in a Salem hospital on Sunday, January 5, at the age of 76 years, 9 months, and 8 days. She was born in Christiansund, Norway. She came to the United States as a young girl, coming first to Underwood, Minnesota to relatives. From there she came to Rainier more than forty years ago. She also was at Mayger for awhile when she first lived here.
She ran a boarding house and hotel here years ago then moved away and came back to make her home here for the rest of her life.
She lived alone in her home in Rainier for some years. Recently she had a severe cold and went to her daughter in Portland. It was while she was with her daughter, Mrs. A.D. Woodmansee, in Salem, that she was taken to a Salem hospital where she died of pneumonia.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Tinsley of San Francisco, Mrs. Ebba Swanson of Portland, and Mrs. A.D. Woodmansee of Salem and by one son, A.L. Malm of El Paso, Texas.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 8, at 10 o"clock am at the Riverview cemetery chapel, Portland.
