ALICE FAYE KITTRELL
LOCKPORT, Ill. -- Services for Alice Faye Kittrell, 67, of Lockport, Ill., are set for 4 p.m. Saturday at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Bowie with the Rev. Greg Newton, pastor of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Bowie, officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie under the direction of the Fry Funeral Home of Bowie.
Mrs. Kittrell died Oct. 9, 2001, in Joliett, Ill.
She was born Sept. 6, 1934, in McClain. She was a retired licensed vocational nurse and a member of the Pentecostal faith. On March 5, 1950, she married Clarence E. Kittrell in Gainesville. She was a long-time resident of Bowie before moving to Lockport, Ill., a year ago.
Survivors include her sons, C.E. "Cheech" Kittrell Jr. of Gainesville, Randy L. Kittrell of Bowie, Jimmy Don Kittrell of Bowie, and Ralph Dewayne Kittrell of Bowie; daughter, Mrs. Deborah Lynn Miller of Lockport, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Laura Kirkland of Abilene; brothers, Willard "Bill" Smith of Tomball, Judd Smith of Enid, Okla., V.L. "Bunk" Smith of Vidor, and J.G. Smith of Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Kittrell Sr. on Jan. 7, 1986.
The family will receive friends at the Fry Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
