Albert Lee Allen, 85, died suddenly in his home yesterday. A native of Arkansas, he had lived in Modesto the past twelve years.
He was a retired minister and a member of the La Loma Church of Christ.
He leaves his widow, Nettie Allen; children, Gladys Willingham, Iva Heckenlaible, Helen Kennicutt, Anna Foster, all of Modesto, Bud Allen of Denair, Essie DeWitt of Artesia, Los Angeles County, and Odessa McClellan of Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Services will be held tomorrow at 11 AM in the Shannon Chapel. Sherman Cannon will officiate.
Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park.
