Mrs. Pia Irene Massagli, Eureka, died in a local hospital Tuesday evening following a short illness. She was born in Lucca, Italy, February 22, 1890 and came to this area in 1916.
She is survived by her husband, Rudolfo Massagli; children, Levin, Anthony, Dart and Gino Massagli, all of Eureka; grandchildren, Victor, Vicky, Linda, Jacqueline, Jimmy and Grace Massagli, Eureka; and a niece and nephew, Mrs. Pauline Nardinia, Burbank, California and Harry Massagli of Eureka.
Rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 8:15 in Cooper's Mortuary, Chapel of the Ferns. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. in Cooper's Mortuary, Chapel of the Ferns, with a requiem mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church.
Encryptment will follow in the sanctuary of St. Bernard's.
