Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. for Frank Melvin Mangrum at Hudgins Chapel. Rev. O.C. Slaughter Officiated and burial was in Hudgins Cemetery.
Mr. Mangrum died Wednesday night at Williamson County Hospital. He was 83 years of age.
The son of the late John Wesley and Mary Sullivan Mangrum, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Edwards Mangrum; daughter, Mrs. Homer Welch, Jr., of Nashville; four sons, Alton and W. T. Mangrum of Fairview, , Lloyd and Austin Mangrum of Nashville; brothers Walter and Johnny Mangrum of Fairview, and Jack Mangrum of Nashville; seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sam Deason, Vester Edwards, W. G. Lewis, Douglas, and James L. Mangrum.
Franklin Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
