Mr. Mangrum died Wednesday night at Williamson County Hospital. He was 83 years of age.
The son of the late John Wesley and Mary Sullivan Mangrum, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Edwards Mangrum; daughter, Mrs. Homer Welch, Jr., of Nashville; four sons, Alton and W. T. Mangrum of Fairview, , Lloyd and Austin Mangrum of Nashville; brothers Walter and Johnny Mangrum of Fairview, and Jack Mangrum of Nashville; seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sam Deason, Vester Edwards, W. G. Lewis, Douglas, and James L. Mangrum.
Franklin Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
