Charles Everett Miles 90, passed away January 1, 2009. He was born October 2, 1918, in Cook County, Illinois to Charles Edward and Frances Muriel (Ellis) Miles.

In 1941, he married Pauline Younger who passed away in 1991. He worked for a number of telephone companies as well as a NASA subcontractor. He lived in several western U. S. states, moving to Tucson in 1984. Charles was also an avid golfer. His joy was playing the organ. He married Catherine (Cotty) Seitz from Hays, Kansas, in 1992.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine; daughters: Patricia Lee (John D.), and Sharon Canady; six step-children: Steve Seitz (Deb), Victoria, KS, Terrie Adams, Lakewood, CO, Charmaine Schueler, Hays, KS, Frank Seitz (Krisy), Derby, KS, Mike Seitz, Wichita, KS, Michelle Sarver (Mike), Hays, KS; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a step son-in-law, Dean Schueler, and a step-grandson, C.J. Seitz.

A service will take place at the East LAWN PALMS MORTUARY AND CEMETERY, 5801 East Grant Road. Viewing will be at 1:00 p.m., and the service will be at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the Mausoleum at All Faiths Cemetery, 2151 S. Avenida Los Reyes, Tucson, AZ.
