Roxie Etta Wise Fowler, age 81 of Nashville, Arkansas and formally of Garland City, Arkansas, passed away comfortably in her home on Saturday, February 20, 2016 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Mrs. Fowler was born on July 3, 1934 in Horatio, Arkansas to Rufus Earl and Alice J. Wise.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Fowler served on the board of USDA Farm Service Agency and the Farm Bureau Women's Committee.

Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Janelle Collins; and six brothers, Ray Wise, Donald Wise, Leo Wise, Harold Wise, Frank Wise, and Bobby Dale Wise; and great granddaughter, Madeline Cousineau.

She is survived by her devoted husband and caregiver of 63 years, Charles Fowler; three children, Marilyn Kennedy and husband, Ken, Dennis Fowler and wife, Teri, and Teresa Lumley; seven grandchildren, Leslie Allmon and husband, Jeremy, Jeremy Fugitt and wife, Priscilla, Brittany Christie and husband, Matt, Courtney Stinson and husband, Josh, Carson Hughes and husband, Colton, Josh Sullivan and wife, Hannah, and Courtney Cousineau and husband, Albert; fourteen great grandchildren, Holden, Finley, Amos, Lane, Logan, Knox, Samuel, Blakeli, Kinleigh, Beatrice, Destiney, Courtlynn, Dylan, and A.J.; one brother, Charles Richard Wise and wife, Doris; one sister-in-law, Cora Mae Wise; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside Services will be held at 2pm Friday, February 26, 2016 at Shiloh Cemetery, 9143 Hwy 82E, Texarkana, AR, with Bro. Rick Wise officiating.
