Fred Everett Brock, 84, of Portland, died March 26, in Gresham. He was born in Eugene to Fred and Hazelle Brock. He graduated from Benson High School and earned his B.S. in administration of justice from University of Portland. On Sept. 2, 1949 he married his beautiful wife, Beverly Taylor. They were married for over 60 years. They loved ballroom dancing, traveling, cruises, and most of all, bowling with their grandchildren. He was very active in the Sea Scouts and at church. He was a WWII veteran while serving in the USN, went to the FBI academy, retired from PGE, Portland Police Department and Multnomah Kennel Club. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survivors include his children, Gerald, Deborah and Karen; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and his sister, Francis Criswell. A viewing will be Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 2-6 p.m. followed by an 11 a.m. funeral Monday, April 23, 2012 both at Gresham Memorial Chapel, 257 SE Roberts Ave., Gresham.
