MR. TAILER BURIED.
Funeral Service Conducted at Trinity Church; Interment in Island Cemetery.

Final rites for T. Suffern Tailer, who died suddenly in Baltimore Christmas afternoon, were held at 9 o'clock Thursday afternoon in Trinity Church, Rev. Stanley Carnaghan Hughes, the rector, officiating. In attendance were members of the immediate family, and a number of intimate friends who came from New York. In addition to many from this city who knew Mr. Tailer well. It had been decided to have the funeral at 10:30 this morning, but last night the family set the early hour.

After the church service, the body was taken to the Tailer plot in the Island cemetery, where Rev. Mr. Hughes read the committal service in the presence of the family and others. The casket was covered with a pall of white roses, Easter lilies and violets, on a backround of ?mllax, and there were many beautiful wreaths from many who knew Mr. Tailer for years.

During the church service the vested choir sang "Lead, Kindly Light" and "Abide With Me."

Those of the immediate family here for the funeral were
Mrs. T. Suffern Tailer,
Mr. and Mrs Walter Gurnee Dyer,
Mr. T. Suffern Tailer, Jr.,
Mr. and Mrs. Lorillard Suffern Tailer,
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Brown,
Mrs. Robert R. Livingston and her son,
and Mrs. C. Whitney Carpenter, Jr.

Among the personal friends of Mr. Tailer were
Mr. Stuart Duncan,
Dr. George Bolling Lee
and Dr. Charles D. Easton of New York,
and Mr. Benjamin H. Griswold of Baltimore.

The family and others left immediately after the interment for Providence, where they took a train for New York.

At the church, in addition, were late-staying members of the summer colony, among them Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Fish Webster, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Eppley, Mr. Walter S. Andrews, Mrs. Reginald Norman, Miss Amy Varnum and Miss Elizabeth Belton.

Others noted were Mayor Mortimer A. Sullivan, Superintendent and Mrs. Daniel Shea, of the Country Club, Superintendent and Mrs. William Young of Bailey's Beach, Mrs. John Hayes of the Country Club, Mr. James Meikle and Mr. Oscar Schultz. There were no bearers.
