And "services will be at 1:30pm Wednesday at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home."

I scanned up to the top of the newspaper and confirmed it indeed was the November 24, 1987 edition. It's possible that the Register Star received this text late and put it in a week late, thinking no one would notice.
