"The funeral of Alice Kelton Thursday was largely attended. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers, the gifts of friends and associations to whom Alice or Mr. and Mrs. Kelton belonged, among them her class in Sunday school, the Men's Bible class. The Woman's Union, Ladies' Excelsior class and many others. There were many tears shed for the bright young life gone out so suddenly and so sadly. She was universally liked by young and old and especially since her sickness of last fall she has endeared herself to her mates because of her courage in trying to overcome the weakness and disability left by disease. To Mr. and Mrs. Kelton in their now childless home goes out the profound sympathy of all. Rev. Glenn Douglass conducted the services which were held in the community church [in Glover].
