Patricia Rae Haggard, age 74, of Tamaroa, IL, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 in her home.

Patricia was born on September 21, 1937 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Wayne Ira and Iva Orlean (Marlow) Bridges. On March 7, 1959, she married Donald Haggard, Sr. in the Second Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL and he survives. Patricia worked at Decca Records for 10 years and was a homemaker. She attended Roe's Dale Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL and St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL. Patricia was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing, art, painting, writing and illustrating stories, and taking pictures. She enjoyed doll collecting, sketching portraits for the local kids who played sports, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Haggard, Sr. of Tamaroa, IL; three sons, Donald (Angela) Haggard of Tamaroa, IL, Daniel (Danielle) Haggard of Pinckneyville, IL, and David (Carrie) Haggard of DuQuoin, IL; two brothers, Edward Everett (Sue) Bridges and Ricky David (Linda) Bridges, all of Tamaroa, IL; two sisters, Bonnie June Bridges of DuQuoin, IL and Bessie Orlean Kozuszek of Nashville, IL; six grandchildren, Marenna Haggard, Braydon Haggard, Hayley Haggard, Meg Haggard, Katherine Haggard, and Madelyn Haggard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia Orlean Haggard; two sisters, Sonia May Bridges and Mary Sue Johnson; and one brother, Robert Allen Bridges.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Cindy Bean officiating. Interment will be in Campbell Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made to Campbell Cemetery.
