Preceded in death by parents Oscar Henson and Minnie Izora Fox Warf; husband, Benjamin Franklin Pewitt; daughters, Edna Louise Pewitt and Janice Faye Berry; son, Benjamin Edward Pewitt; brother, Oscar A. Warf Jr.; sisters, Ollie Mae Warf Poteete, Eunice Warf Barnes, Jessie Warf Davis and Myrtle Ruth Warf Henry.
Survived by daughter, Jeanne (Philip) Vallandingham of Barboursville, WV; sons, Jerry Franklin (Sally) Pewitt of West Chester, OH and Jack (Sherry) Pewitt of White Pine, TN; brothers, Wendall Warf of Eagleville, TN, James Warf of Hinton, WV, Alvin Warf of Anaheim, CA and Billy Warf of Haleyville, AL; sisters, Cora Epps of Nolensville, TN and Betty Jean Phipps of La Vergne, TN; grandchildren, Andrew, Stephanie, Sam, Kim, Greg, Cindy, Leslie, Benjamin and Rebekah and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Franklin Community of Faith Church, 506 Jordan Rd., Franklin, TN. Ronnie Johnson officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
