Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 17, 1997 in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. William E. Elwell officiating. Burial followed in Gardens of Memory with Holman-Headland Mortuary directing.

Mr. Woodham was born in Midland City, the son of the late William Julious Woodham and Alice Mae Gary Woodham. He had lived in the Mt. Pisgah community of Dale County before moving to Headland in 1967. Mr. Woodham was formerly employed as assistant County Engineer with Dale County and later retired as an engineering draftsman with the Air Field/Air Space Branch of the Training Management Division at Ft. Rucker. He was a member of the Headland United Methodist Church, the Midland City Masonic Lodge #504 and was an Army veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lala Riley Woodham.
Surviving relatives include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Frances and Jerrell Justice, Arab, AL; three grandchildren, Jeff Justice, Jeanna Plunkett and her husband, Jason Plunkett; and Jackie Justice, all of Arab; a sister, Nell Adams, Enterprise; two sisters-in-law, Lena Mae Riley, Headland, Nora Riley, Marianna, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
