Nora Belle Sexton Bolton Fuqua
Seymour - Nora Fuqua, 94, died Friday, January 4, 1991 in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. at the Old Seymour Cemetery with the Rev Lloyd McIntosh officiating, directed by Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fuqua was born on October 18, 1896 to the late William Booth and Isabella Sexton in Navarro County. The Sexton family moved to Sylvester where they lived for many years. She married William Curtis Bolton in 1913 in Greenville, Texas. One son, William Carl Bolton, was born June 17, 1914 who preceded her in death on April 16, 1969. She later married Henry Fuqua in 1950 who also preceded her in death in 1973.
Mrs. Fuqua was a Christian who worshipped at the Methodist church. She moved to Seymour in late 1970s which was her home until her death. She is survived by a sister, Virginia Florine Howard of Seymour; two brothers, G.W. Sexton of Seymour and Finis B. Sexton of Slaton; four grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
