Baseball Statistics Pioneer. Founder of Heilbroner's Baseball Bureau Service and publisher of the annual baseball "Blue Book," of major and minor league statistics. Was a good friend of major league commissioner Judge Kenesaw Mountain Landis and also served as a manager of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball club.
