SULPHUR SPRINGS – Myrtle May Row, 96, of Sulphur Springs, a former Greenville resident, died Wednesday at 2:55 p.m. in a Sulphur Springs hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Murray-Orwosky Chapel with Thomas Hogland officiating. Graveside services and burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in East Mount Cemetery in Greenville.
She was born April 13, 1886 in Celeste to Andrew and Caroline Gotcher Shanks. Her husband, George Row, preceded her in death in 1942. Mrs. Row was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are sons, James Row of California, Robert Row of Mesquite and Joe Row of Dallas; daughters, Myrtle Woodall of Sulphur Springs, Lucille Morgan of Quitman, Catherine Pinson of Greenville and Vivian Jones of California; brother, Mack Shanks of Greenville; sister, Mary B. Ferguson of Oklahoma; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
