He was born July 18, 1932, to Wesley L. and Pearl (Reeves) Scott in Macomb.
Leo was raised and lived his entire life in the Romulus/Macomb area. He graduated with the class of 1950 from Macomb High School.
Leo proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He married Bonnie Thompson on May 8, 1953 in Dale.
Leo worked in the oil field as a driller and tool pusher and for Modern Oil Company of Shawnee.
He was a member of the Romulus Baptist Church. Leo enjoyed raising cattle, tending his farm, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his wife of 59 years, Bonnie.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Pearl Scott.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Nick Neitzke of Edmond; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sandy Scott of Stillwater and Randy and Debbie Scott of Norman; sister, Virginia Stover of Tecumseh; granddaughters, Erin and husband, Justin Gerry, of Edmond, Natalie and husband, Chad Trease, of Norman, Audrey Scott and Shelby Scott, of Stillwater; grandsons, Ryan and wife, Pholile Scott, Jeffrey Scott of Irving, Texas, Wesley Scott, of Norman, Brad and wife, Laney Scott, of Coppell, Texas, and Travis Norman of Norman; great-grandchildren, Ellie and Tucker Trease of Norman; and extended family and friends.
