Graveside service: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Memorials: Biway Seventh Day Adventist building fund.
Cecil R. Read was born April 11, 1929, in Wise County. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Arlon Read, Weldon Read, Alva Read; and sister, Oleta Stephens.
Survivors: Wife, Mary Jane Sipes Read; brother, Kennith Read; numerous nieces and nephews.
