Charles Raymond Siefker, 65, of Breese died Sunday at St. Joseph's Clinton County Hospital of an apparent heart attack which he suffered at his home the same day.
Survivors include his wife, the former Dolores Thien; two sons, Norman of Breese and Gerald of Mountain Home, Arkansas; three stepbrothers, Albert and John Willi, both of Breese, and Carl Willi of Highland. Preceding him in death were two daughters, Sue Siefker and Eileen Bennett, a brother, Fred, and two sisters, Beulah Rolfingsmeier and Murville Nash.
The son of William and Mary (Moody) Siefker, he was born on November 14, 1911 in Taylor Springs, Illinois, where he lived until the age of five when his family moved to Breese. He attended Breese Public Schools and later married the former Dolores Thien of Breese, who survives.
Mr. Siefker was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and Local 840 IUE. He was retired from Bassler Electric of Highland.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ with interment in St. John's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Willi, Albert Willi, Greg Siefker, Arthur Holtgrave, Robert Calderon and Leo Bolk.
Arrangements were made by Bruegge-Heyer Funeral Home.
