Christina immigrated to Canada from Bavaria, Germany in 1872.

She was the wife of Nicholas A. Berlet.

Christina was entered in the 1891 and 1901 census of New Hamburg in Wilmot Twp; Then in 1911 she was living in Berlin according to the census.

Christina lived to the old age of 88 years, 10 months and 28 days. She died of Myocardial Insufficiency (Heart Failure). Death Certificate #033742.

Mrs. Christina Berlet, aged 88 years, passed away at her home, Weber St., Kitchener, on Tuesday, Nov. 14th. She had been a resident of Kitchener for twenty years.

There survive one son, Harry Berlet of Woodstock and one sister, Mrs. William Heckrouth of Elkton, Mich.

The funeral was held on Friday afternoon with public service at St. Matthew's Church. Interment took place in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery. Rev. J. Schmieder officiated.
