Married Malinda ENOCHS c.1840, They had 4 children, possably 5 before John Wesleys death in 1855.
From an article titled "Cholera in Carlisle", printed in the Sullivan Times on 2 June 1883, written by W.M. Martyn:
"On a bright Sunday morning (1854*) while the deadly disease prevailed John Trigg, Wesley Bedwell and I, walked out to the Dooley orchard on the railway, Wesley talked of his future prospects; his hope of a long life of usefulness; spoke of his brother, Mr. Coke Bedwell; mentioned the death of a loving sister by the scourge; of the effect it had upon his mother; then, as now, the honored wife of Uncle Dicky Davidson. That was the last time I saw him alive. Wesley Bedwell died the next Wednesday."
*Based on his sister passing Feb 1855, I believe that this article is off by one year should read on a bright Sunday morning (1855)
