Wife of A M Ashcraft∼WINGER -- Whitesboro, Texas, April 27
Funeral services were held here Wednesday for Mrs. Amanda Ashcraft Winger, 87, a pioneer resident of Whitesboro. She came here with her husband, the late A.M. Ashcraft, in 1869, and for a number of years they operated the City Hotel. Mr. Ashcraft died in 1906 and she married J.W. Winger in 1908, who died in 1916. Mrs. Winger made her home here until three years ago, when she went to Bellvue, Texas, to reside with a relative and where she died.
