Mr. Billy Roger Youngblood age 79 of Pell City formerly of Tuscaloosa passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at Meadow View Nursing Home in Pell City.

Billy was born on March 16, 1940 in Fayette County a son of Charlie Hollis Youngblood and Sarah Abigail Corbett Youngblood. He became disabled by polio at a young age and grew up in Winfield before moving to Tuscaloosa where he worked at Morrison’s Cafeteria for 15 years. He’s lived in the Birmingham area for the last eight years. He enjoyed watching Alabama Football and Wrestling. He loved listening to country music and he had a wonderful bass voice and enjoyed singing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Clinton H., Dalton C., and Charles H. Youngblood, sisters, Vaudell Langston, Glenis Blanton and Jimmie Lou Echols and two infant brothers.

He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and others relatives.

Funeral services are planned for Friday, April 12, 2019 at 1 P.M. from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home with burial following in White Springs Cemetery. C.W. Box will be the officiating Minster. Visitation will be from 12 P.M. till time of service at 1 P.M. on Friday.
