CLAUDIA B. FARMER, 79, of 256 S. Camilla, Apt. 408, retired employee of White Rose Industrial Laundry, died of cancer Saturday at Parkway Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at noon Saturday at Mt. Joyner Baptist Church with burial in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Clarksdale, Miss. N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Golden Rule Baptist Church. She leaves a son, Lee A. Harris of Memphis; 10 sisters, Mary Hinton, Fannie Nelson, Catherine Farmer, Bernice Holland, Ruthie Farmer, Ida Grant, Helen Anderson and Gloria Lee, all of Chicago, Effie Johnson of Detroit and Florida Cotton of Hughes, Ark.; two brothers, Tommy Farmer of Merrillville, Ind., and Charles Brady of Memphis, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
