Bruce "Don" Cross, age 56, of Blountville, TN went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born November 1, 1955 to the late Henry Cross and Marl Owens Cross. He was a lifetime resident of Bristol and a former security guard for of Exide. Mr. Cross was a member of New Grace Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Cross.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Haynes officiating. The family will receive friends following the funeral service. The interment service and burial will be at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens on Friday at 11:00 AM. Military Honors will be provided by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help cover expenses.
