"Horace O. Bigelow was a farmer in Coe Township, Isabella County, Mich. His papers contain one letter, March 20, 1864, from William Dover. Dover was in Company M, Michigan Engineers and Mechanics, Sept. 1863-Sept., 1865. The letter informs Bigelow about the death of his son, Olney Backus Bigelow, also of Company M, Michigan Engineers and Mechanics, on February 14, 1864.
