"WESTFORD - Funeral services were held in the Skinner Funeral Home in Worcester Tuesday afternoon at 2 for Mrs. Harriet Harrington, 89, who passed away at McDonough Nursing Home in Worcester Saturday about 11 a. m. after being a patient there for only one day. Burial was made in Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester ... Mrs. Harrington was born in Decatur July 24, 1866, daughter of Rufus and Mary (Munson) Barnes and married Stanton B. Harrington in Decatur February 12, 1889. She was a school teacher before her marriage. They resided in Gloversville before moving to the town of Westford 57 years ago ...'Ma' Harrington, as she was known for many years by young and old, suffered a paralytic stroke on July 8, 1953, and had since been an invalid. She had been faithfully cared for by her daughter, Miss Grace and son Roy. She is survived by two others sons, Bert Harrington of Scotia and Floyd of Oneonta; and a grandson Glenn Harrington of Scotia ..."
