Captain Jane Ann Davidsaver, 84, of Sunset Park Place, and formerly of Seattle, WA, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Ennoble Manor.
Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Friends may greet the family Thursday from 9:00 a.m.to 10:00 a.m. at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Resurrection Garden Columbarium, Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Jane Ann was born December 19, 1927 in Dubuque, the daughter of Christian and Mary (Pins) Davidsaver. She graduated from Clarke College in 1949, and moved to Staten Island, New York, to begin a career with the United States Public Health Service as a Dietitian. She served in various locations including Boston, Chicago, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT, and Seattle, WA.
Jane Ann was a member of the American Dietetics Association, the Seattle Women's University Club, and a life member of the Military Officers Association of America. She was also a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister-in-law, Rose Marie Davidsaver of Dubuque; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Christian "Corky" Davidsaver.
