Dairy Farmer Dies of Pneumonia
Steuben, June 7.—Following an illness of several days of pneumonia, Robert Broadbent, 48, a successful farmer of the town of Steuben, died at his home yesterday.
He was the second son of the late Frank and Estella Broadbent and was born in Floyd. Practically bis entire life was spent in the town of Steuben, add December 1, 1902. he married Maude Whittaker of Holland Patent Mr. Broadbent conducted two large dairy, farms about two miles from Holland Patent. Although he never held any political office, he was always a staunch Republican and was active in the Steuben Grange and the Methodist Church of South Western.
Betides his wife he leaves one daughter, Emily, and six sons, Leon, Lawrence, Merwin, Clifford, Ronald and Clarence, all of Steuben; one sister, Martha of Barneveld, and five brothers, Leon and Lester of East Steuben, Homer of Bridgewater and Frank and Elwin of Barneveld
