FORT WORTH - Press Perry, a retired Postal Transportation Service employee, died Tuesday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 85.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Mr. Perry was born in Haskell and lived in Fort Worth for 55 years.

He retired from the Postal Transportation Service after 44 years of service.

Mr. Perry was a charter member of the Ren Clark Ring, Ring 15, of the Fort Worth Magic Club and was a member of Arlington Heights United Methodist Church.

Survivors: Wife for 58 years, Clara Pauline Perry of Fort Worth; daughter, Beverly Jane Perry of Fort Worth; son, Billy Wayne Perry of San Antonio; sister, Thelma Atkinson of Water Valley; brother, Hoyt Perry of Haskell; and six grandchildren.
