Lyda E. is listed on the headstone which was a later addition. However, Lida E. is noted on the marriage record with William FLANIGAN. The headstone of the baby, Leonori, who is buried in St. Joseph's cemetery also has "Lida". Census records after the marriage do note Lida, as well as birth records of William's and Lida's children. However, the 1860 Census of Afred and Monica (STREITENBERGER) RIDGWAY (RIDGEWAY) does show 6 children, two daughters in that group are Elizabeth estimated birth is 1856 and Eliza estimated birth is 1860. It appears from later family census records that the Census Enumerator repeated Elizabeth as Eliza instead of writing in the child, Hannah. In the 1870 Census Record, Elizabeth Ellen is given as the full name. In the 1900 Census, Lida list her birth year as 1858. In the Will of Alfred RIDGEWAY, he refers to his daughter as Eliza Flanigan.

Lida married William Bernard FLANIGAN on September 15, 1879 in Pike County, Ohio.

On the 1900 Census Record, William and Lida are listed as having the following children: John (Michael), age 19; Paul W., age 18; Mary L., age 16; Thomas, age 14; (Joseph) Bulger, age 9; Cletus, age 7; Winifred M., age 4; and twins, Leonori and Leori, age 10 months.
