Gregory Paris O'Brien, fondly remembered as OB or Bear, age 47, died unexpectedly on February 1, 2012, in Phoenix AZ. Born on June 8, 1964, in Ipswich MA, he was the son of Elizabeth (Morris) Kiernan. He grew up in Newburyport MA and was a graduate of Newburyport High School. Greg loved music and collecting comic books. For the last 20 years he has resided in Phoenix AZ as a custom cabinet maker.
He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Ann Kiernan of Exeter NH; sisters Cassandra "Casey" Wright of Danville NH and Tamsin "Tammy" McNally of Amesbury MA; niece Megan McNally of Boston MA; and nephew Jonathan Hartman of Amesbury MA.
