Services for Mathew Bryant, 53, of 611 Cypress St., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Adams and Sons Funeral home with the Rev. R.G. Pettus officiating and burial in Cave Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Bryant died Tuesday at Jennie Stuart Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Christian County, he was born Feb. 10, 1928, the son of Herbert Bryant Sr., city, and the late Mary Ann Billingsley Bryant. His wife, Dorothy Sivils Bryant, died in 1977.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include two brothers, Christopher C. of Atlanta, Ga., and Herbert H. Bryant Jr., city, and four sisters, Cornelia Whitlock, Norine Williams and Mary Ella Jackson, all of the city, and Ivora Bryant, Indianapolis, Ind.
