Born in Pottsville, PA to the late Blanche and Charles Storch. Ida retired from the Social Security Administration after 25 years of service. She was a member of the St. Nicholas Catholic Church where she volunteered for "Meals on Wheels" and other various activities.
Ida is survived by her husband of 51 years, Anthony Hardock, Jr.; daugters, Annette Hardock (William Weger), Charlene Hardock, and Patti Evans (Gary); grandchildren, Michael Lee Rice (Rebeca), Robert and Amber Merritt; step granddaughters, Megan and Madison Evans; great grandson, Lleyton; step great granddaughters, Katelynn and Devan; sisters, Elaine Zurat of Horsham, PA and Catherine Lois Storch of Virginia Beach, VA. Ida was predeceased by twin sons, Alexander and Andrew at childbirth.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel. A funeral mass followed by a reception will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father Venancio Belarote officiating.
