Funeral services for Jacob V. Dull, 65, were held on Monday afternoon from the Hall Funeral Home, with burial in the Highland cemetery. The Rev. John Scott of the Gladwin Methodist church officiated. Mr. Dull a resident of Grout township for many years, was born in Wren, Ohio, on October 19, 1884. He came to Gladwin with his parents when a small child and attended school here.
He married Miss Della Bittner in Gladwin. Following her death in 1917, he moved to Wren, Ohio, living there for about 20 years, when he returned to Grout for several years. He has been making his home in Wren since that time and passed away there on March 17.
Surviving are three sons, Otis Dull of Ossian, Indiana, Wayne Dull of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Harold Dull of Midland; two daughters, Mrs. Beatrice Daniels, of Decator, Indiana, and Mrs. Inez Hall of Saginaw; one brother, Charles Dull, of Wren, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Oressa Hudspeth of Hoopston, Illinois, Mrs. Inez Swoveland of Gillman, Illinois, and Mrs. Flossie Bailey of Gladwin; also seven grandchildren.
