Mr. Trivett was born March 4, 1928 in Watauga County, to Clark and Grace Harmon Trivett. He was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. He was a carpenter and a veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Betty Hagaman Trivett, one son, one daughter, his mother, Mrs. Clark Trivett, two brothers, two sisters, two grandsons and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Zion Hill Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Quincy Norris. Burial followed in the Trivette Family Cemetery.
