Billie Gene Neely of Pleasant Grove, Utah, was born December 5, 1947, in Casa Grande, AZ, the daughter of Roy A. and Dovie B. Houston Wikle. She passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008, at her residence in Pleasant Grove at the age of 60.

Mrs. Neely graduated from Casa Grande High School and furthered her education at Central Texas College (Associate Degree), received a B.S. Degree in Education from Boston University, and master work at The University of the State N.Y. She was a fireball. Her energy, desire, and ability to serve others left tracks across the world. Mrs. Neely served in the United States Army and Civil Service for more than 20 years. Her employment took her throughout the United States, Europe, Mexico, Australia, Japan and South Korea. She later worked in the family business at Wikle Water Works and Ice in Marietta, OK, and is listed as a survivor in the Oklahoma City bombing. Mrs. Neely was a devoted member of the LDS Church and actively pursued missionary work up to the day of her death. She enjoyed her management job at Thorneberry Apartments in Pleasant Grove and especially loved the people there. Mrs. Neely was an amazing woman and will be missed deeply. Preceding her in death were her mother; and a step-sister, LeAnn Carroll.
