Mrs. Esther Grazier, widow of the late Joseph Grazier, died July 25 at her home at Gatesburg, aged 84 years, 2 months, and 23 days. She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom are living--Martin of Altoona; Mrs. Geo. E. Chronister, Dungarvin; Mrs. John L. Lemon, Gatesburg; Mrs. David A. Lykens, Dungarvin; Theodore F. Grazier, Tyrone; Elmer E. Grazier, and Mrs. David Ray, of Cambria county, and Oscar Grazier at home. She had 46 grandchildren, 24 of whom attended the funeral Monday, six of them acting as pall-bearers. She also had 25 great grandchildren, and is survived by two sisters, namely, Mrs. Jacob Rider, of Tyrone and Mrs. Cyrus Chronister of Centre Line, PA. The deceased connected herself with the Lutheran church when but 17 years of age and lived a consistent Christian life. Rev. Mr. Bergstresser of Baileyville, conducted funeral services for deceased at the Gatesburg Lutheran church, and the interment was made at the cemetery adjoining the church.
