Mrs. Peggy Jean (Hallmark) Allen of Rattan passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 in a Plano Hospital.
Graveside services for Mrs. Allen will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Cope Cemetery in Lillian, Texas near Mansfield.
Mrs. Allen was born September 17, 1926 in Lillian, Texas. She was the daughter of Otis Jack Hallmark and Callie Singleton Hallmark. She married Mr. Robert Marshall Allen March 14, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1992. She had been a resident of Delta County since 1978.
She is survived by two sons; Robert H. Allen of Richardson and J.W. Allen of Rattan, a daughter Nella Blair of Picayune, Mississippi, two sisters; Anita Bell of Waxahachie and Mary Ellen Thompson of Waxahachie, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, April 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
