Dies In Michigan
Eddie F. Brown, 27-year-old county resident, died unexpectedly Monday at the home of a brother, Robert Brown, Bellville, Mich.
He had formerly made his home with his mother Mrs. Daphnia Brown Bostick, and was planning to return here later this month when he completed work in Michigan He had gone there three months ago on a painting contract job.
Mr Brown was found dead in bed at 6:30 a.m. Monday and the cause of death was undetermined.
The body will be returned to Hopkinsville to Keightley Funeral Home where services will be at 2 p.m. Friday. The body is expected to arrive Thursday and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Brown was a member of the Edgewood Baptist Church. He attended Belmont School and was a graduate of HopkinsvIlle High School. He later served for four years in the U.S Air Force, and was a past secretary-treasurer of the Local 1414 Painters' Union here.
Survivors, other than his mother and the brother with whom he was staying at the time of his death, include two more brothers, McKinley Brown of Hopkinsville, and a twin brother, Freddie L. Brown, stationed in France with
the Army; two sisters, Mrs Robert Mundy and Mrs. Philip Lombard, both of Hopkinsville.
