Funeral For Mrs. Brake
On Tuesday

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Florida Brake, 75, Tuesday afternoon at Beshear Funeral Home.

The Rev. Julian Ethridge officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at HopkinsviUe.

Mrs. Brake died at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at her residence, Meadows Hill Drive.

She was born July 22, 1897, daughter of the late George and Oma Veach Gillard. She was a member of the Kelly Baptist Church.

Survivors include the husband, Jessie Brake; a daughter, Mrs. Sadie Riely, Elgin, Ill.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Simpson and Mrs. Louise Simpson, both of Pueblo, Colo.; four brothers, Herman Gillard, Nortonville; John Gillard, Hopkinsville; Herbert Gillard, Pueblo, Colo., and John Gillard, Popular Bluff, Mo.

Pallbearers were Joseph Hopkins, Jerry Hopkins, Joe Brake, James Brake, Darrell Orange and Ray Croft.
