Born at "Waterview" plantation, she was a free spirit and did the unthinkable. Two of the family slaves killed another slave and Ann went to court for them and pleaded mercy for them since one of them was her devoted personal slave.
Ann suceeded and instead of the death sentence, which was commuted, both slaves were deported to Liberia.

Gravesite Details

Ann was buried at "Waterview" a home overlooking Mountain Run Lake. Her Revolutionary soldier father and other family members are buried there.
