Daughter of George and Agnes (Williams) Vanderloop. Married Jacob Rutten on January 12, 1892 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Center Township, Butler County, Nebr.

Moved with at the age of nine with her parents from Wisconsin to Nebraska in 1879, settling near David City where she married Jacob Rutten on January 12, 1892.

Shortly after their marriage she and her husband moved to Hay Springs, then to Cedar Rapids in 1903. In 1936 they retired from farming and moved into town.

"Mrs. Vanderloop died early Sunday morning on her way home from the 8:00 Mass. She became ill and went into the Joseph Haschke residence. Mr. Rutten was summoned immediately; and she passed away shortly afterward, and before medical aid could arrive. Her death was due to a heart ailment with which she had been afflicted for several months."

9) Mrs. Hannah Barnam - Salt Lake City, Utah
10) Mrs. Myrtle Stewart - Whitney
11) Mrs. Clara Iossi - Crawford
12) Mrs. Agnes Ostermeyer - Crawford

Also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren and one brother, Henry Vanderloop of Cedar Rapids.
