G. Roy Cayce Passed Away
Thursday Night

Mr. G. Roy Cayce one of the oldest citizens of the county, died at his home three and a half miles from the city, Thursday night at 7 o'clock. Catarrh of the stomach, with which he had been confined to his home for about a month, was the cause of his death. He was in his 76th year. His wife preceded him to the grave nearly 25 years ago. He is survived by seven children, namely: Mrs. Thomas Adams and two unmarried daughters, Misses Louisa and Marion Messrs. Robert, Posey, Emmett and Minor, all of this county

Funeral services were held at the old home yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. T. D. Moore. The interment took place in the family burying ground on tho premises in front of the home.

Mr Cayce was a man of sterling integrity and for many years was a memb of the Christian. His Church.
