Keith Durelle Herriage, of Odessa, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Odessa, Texas.

He was born in Sherman, Texas to Lodus and Winnie Herriage on November 2, 1949. He was a graduate of Crane High School. He served his country as a Sergeant of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Sylvia Dyer of Lovington, NM and started a family and a career in the oilfield. He started Permian Anchors in 1994 after a 20 year career with Halliburton. He was the first one to open the doors everyday. He enjoyed fishing with his friends. He liked to unwind at the end of the day by feeding the birds in his backyard.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Zane Michael Herriage.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sylvia Herriage; his daughter, Jennifer Smith and husband Eric and granddaughter, Ashley; his son, Stephen Herriage and wife Heather and grandchildren Chance, Cannon and Caycee; his three sisters, Barbara Wilson of El Dorado Hills, California; Jackie Herriage of Odessa, TX and Janie Fryar of Plano, TX and their families.

He was loved and will be missed by all.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Thomason of Life Change Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Mark Herriage, Kenny Smith, Marcos Granado, Craig Bingham, Dee Johnson, Terry Kennedy and Chad Fryar.
