She married Theodore "Ted" Ramsey Dec. 13, 1946. They had seven children.
Mrs. Ramsey spent her life in this area, where she and her husband raised their family. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, baking and quilting. She donated quilts to special organizations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; two sons, Jimmy Jr. and John Dale; and four brothers.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy Julia Mae of the home and Connie Kay Beasley of Raymondville; three sons, Lonnie Ray and William Lee "Bill" of Houston and Dannie Lynn of Licking; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services were May 8 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Lindsley officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery at Success
