She was born March 5, 1922 in Marshall, IA; the daughter of George Van Slyke and Cleva Mishler Van Slyke. Norma was a retired Nurse's Aide. She is survived by her husband, Edmond A Callahan, whom she married July 15, 2006 in Bentonville; one son James Larry Beeghly of Fayette, IA; 5 daughters, Margaret Catron of Marshalltown, IA, Judith Cathleen Schiebel of Whitcomb, IA, Mary Susan Zinc of Marshalltown, IA, Enid Romaine Weis of Salina, KS and Patsy Elliott of Aberdeen, SD and her sister, Debra Marie Beeghly of Marshalltown, IA. Norma was preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Jo Grisham and her sister Donna May Russle. Memorial services will be 6:00 p.m. Monday at Bentonville Manor Nursing Home in Bentonville, AR.
