John F. Malecha,76,a former Faribault
resident,died Sunday,April 2 at the
Presbyterian Nursing Home in Arden
Hills,MN.

Funeral Services will be at 11AM Wednesday
from St. Lawrence Church in Faribault with
the Rev.James Murphy,pastor,officiating.
Internment will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-9PM Tuesday and until
the service Wednesday.Faribault Eagles will
conduct a memorial service at 7PM today at
the funeral home.

John Frank Malecha, son of Frank and Elizabeth Skluzacek Malecha, was born 22 Nov 1912 in Wheatland Township. Mr. Malecha was a truck driver for many years.



He is survived by eight sons, Leonard of Minneapolis, Gerald of Goose Creek, SC, John of Hastings, Robert of Northfield, Donald of Isanti, Conrad of Conrad, MT, William of Morristown and Michael of Farmington; four daughters, Mrs. Chuck (Margaret) Voge of Sioux Falls, SD, Patricia Hallquist of Fridley, Frances Malecha of Faribault and Mrs. Cletis (Sharon) Hering of Morristown; 33 grand-hildren; 10 great grandchildren; a special friend,Alma Bergman of St. Paul; four brothers, Frank and Joseph of Northfield, James of Webster and Jerome of Faribault; two sisters, Mrs. Marcella Valek of Northfield and Mrs. Michael (Anna) Andreas of Webster; and other relatives.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Ann Marie Fredenburg and Elizabeth Ann Malecha; two sisters, Elizabeth Koktavy and Mary Barta; and three brothers, Thomas,Ludwig and Martin Malecha.
